Welcome!
Immediately
following...the movie, "The Hiding Place" which is about a Dutch family
who hid Jewish people in their homes during WWII, the only living survivor of
this family came onscreen and with a trembling lip and tears welling up in her
eyes, Corrie TenBoom spoke of her sister's death in that camp. I watched mesmerized
as Corrie quoted her sister's dying words "
remember Corrie, there is
never a pit so deep but that God's love is deeper still". The words "deeper
still" rang true in my heart and 20 years later, those words have been the
seed that's been planted, watered, nourished and now has come into harvest.
Deeper
Still is the cry going forth throughout the world to those whose pit seems too
deep to escape - whose pain seems too massive to heal. Hear the words of Miss
TenBoom's sister as she went to meet her God! "There is never a pit so deep
but that God's love is deeper still"!
At the heart of Deeper Still Ministries Intl. is the desire to become so deeply
intimate with God that out of that intimacy will be given the vision, the mission,
the daily workings and the ability to obey Him and do what He is asking. Through
this ministry comes the hope and desire to walk alongside, encourage, disciple,
and support indigenous people throughout the world as they hear God's voice and
realize that He is giving THEM the vision - He is giving THEM the desire - He
is giving THEM the hope!

TESOL COURSE AT THE CENTRE!
Thanks to the Minister of Education here in Chiang Rai, we were given permission to run our first TESOL course at the ministry centre. We have recently gotten word that our school has been approved and that SEA English Academy Chiang Rai will shortly be up and running! Deeper Still will be sharing our space with the school here at 129 Moo 4, Chiang Rai, and our hope is that through this partnership, many more doors will open to help train and equip women and children on their road to freedom. We held our first prac out at Eden House (at risk girls... saved before getting into trafficking) and are planning to partner soon with our friends who are housing those who have not been as fortunate. We will also be reaching out to the educators in our neighborhood to build stronger relationships with them as well.
Yui's Team from Phang Nga!
Right after the TESOL was finished, we hosted a team of young people from Phang-Nga which was lead by none other than Yui and Jaime! While up here in the north, the team traveled to villages and ministered in songs, skits, and stories telling the Gospel of Christ! To be able to see one of my very first English students in Thailand leading a youth group was beyond description. It's like being able to not only see the lasting fruit, but being able to nibble a bit and enjoy the sweetness! At the same time, we were hosting an amazing family from California, The Sponsler's. We had 24 people staying here all at one time and were blessed beyond belief. To see just a few snaps of the team at the ministry centre, go to:

Marlene's Visit!
During the TESOL course, we were blessed to have an amazing teacher from the Flathead Valley come for a visit! Marlene Hanson is a new friend from Kalispell who came to be a blessing (which she was! A Huge blessing). The TESOL students, the staff and the prac girls totally embraced her as she totally embraced us as well. For some pics of her visit (including some snaps of our newly-finished classroom) go to:

Jin Sook, Joy, & Eunju!
This has been a season of welcoming women to the centre who simply need a quiet place for a season. It has been and continues to be a huge blessing for us to be able to host a place of refreshing and renewal for those who need a temporary respite! To be able to walk into your vision is too amazing to describe. God gets all the glory - all the honor - all the praise. This is happening totally because of His Grace and Love. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Time to Bless and Release!
It is with mixed feelings that we announce the blessing and release of Ray and Candace to continue on with the work up in Maela Camp and with the Promised Land. Over the past few years, Ray & Candace have grown and have become amazing leaders. We've grown close, but have known the time for them to step out with this was coming. They are going to be continuing the work near the Burmese border with our Burmese refugee kids. Deeper Still is releasing this end of the ministry into their care. We're so so excited, but at the same time sad to see them go! This is going to be much better for them as they will no longer need to make the 4 1/2 hour journey there (one way). Continue to pray for them as they take this next step in their journey in missions. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! For information on how you can continue to support this end of the ministry send an email to:

Thank you to all those who continually support this ministry. There is much much more to share, but it is difficult to get it all in! This will be it for now. BLESSINGS!!!!
