Welcome!
Immediately
following...the movie, "The Hiding Place" which is about a Dutch family
who hid Jewish people in their homes during WWII, the only living survivor of
this family came onscreen and with a trembling lip and tears welling up in her
eyes, Corrie TenBoom spoke of her sister's death in that camp. I watched mesmerized
as Corrie quoted her sister's dying words "
remember Corrie, there is
never a pit so deep but that God's love is deeper still". The words "deeper
still" rang true in my heart and 20 years later, those words have been the
seed that's been planted, watered, nourished and now has come into harvest.
Deeper Still is the cry going forth throughout the world to those whose pit seems too deep to escape - whose pain seems too massive to heal. Hear the words of Miss TenBoom's sister as she went to meet her God! "There is never a pit so deep but that God's love is deeper still"!
At the heart of Deeper Still Ministries Intl. is the desire to become so deeply
intimate with God that out of that intimacy will be given the vision, the mission,
the daily workings and the ability to obey Him and do what He is asking. Through
this ministry comes the hope and desire to walk alongside, encourage, disciple,
and support indigenous people throughout the world as they hear God's voice and
realize that He is giving THEM the vision - He is giving THEM the desire - He
is giving THEM the hope!
Current Needs...
Monthly support: We are currently raising support for two young women (Akha and Chinese/Thai) who have a heart and dream for full-time ministry.
Jinda - a young Akha woman just completing her education. Jinda has a heart to begin a foundation here in Thailand that will educate and support the Akha tribal children - right in the village instead of removing them from the village and putting them in an institutional setting. Her heart is to provide quality education for the Akha children. For more information, please email Deeper Still.
Sukfong
- a young Chinese/Thai woman who has a heart to start a weekly Christian radio
broadcast in Northern Thailand. The cost of the broadcast would be just under
$100 per month but we are also attempting to raise monthly support for Sukfong
to live. Sukfong also has a heart to begin a home for hill tribe children who
have no current family to support & protect them. Sukfong sees herself surrounded
by children!
