WE ARE RAY AND CANDACE WARD WE LIVE IN THAILAND AND WORK WITH THE THAI’S AND THE KAREN TRIBAL PEOPLE GROUP.THIS MINISTRY IS NOW STREACHING INTO BURMA. WE HAVE BEEN WORKING IN THAILAND FOR OVER 7 YEARS NOW IN MANY CAPACITIES. OUR GREATEST BLESSING IS HAVING SEEN THE RELATIONSHIP WITH A PASTOR AND WIFE COUPLE WHO TRULLY LOVE THE LORD PROSPER. WE HAVE SEEN THEM MATURE AND DEDICATE MORE OF THEMSELVES TO CHRIST EVERY YEAR. GOD HAS BEEN SO FAITHFUL TO US AND THE MINISTRY HE HAS INTRUSTED US WITH. WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE TOTAL VILLAGES TURN AND RECEIVE CHRIST. WE ALSO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO BUILD THEM CHURCHES AND EVEN GIVE A TRUCK AS AN AMBULANCE AND TO INREASE THE NUMBER OF VILLAGES REACHED. OUR LATEST OPPERTUNITY IS TO OPENLY SHARE JESUS IN 4 SCHOOLS. WE HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS TWO DIFFERENT TIMES W/ TEAMS REACHING OVER 6000 CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
HERE IS OUR OBSTACLE AND A GREAT NEED! WE WANT TO USE THIS OPPPERTUNITY TO ITS FULLEST. EVERYTIME WE GO TO THE SCHOOLS WE HAVE TROUBLE GATHERING MUSIC EQUIPTMENT TO BE ABLE TO BE HEARD IN THESE LARGE AUDITORIUMS. AGAIN WE WANT TO USE THIS TO ITS FULLEST!

The WARDS are Ray, Candace, (aka Dad and Mom) and Maile (5 years old and not a bit shy). We are from Grand Junction CO but have found our new home in Chiang Rai, Thailand. We followed Gods voice here and are currently searching out the fullness of his plan for us. We have been called to work with the Karen hill tribe people group in northern Thailand. For about 7 years we have been serving a few specific communities in the mountains of Mae Hong Son province. Our current work has been leading teams linked with YWAM and other organizations into about 4 village communities to serve in whatever capacity arises. We have had many amazing opportunities including open ability to preach the gospel and worship God in several public schools with around 2500 kids in attendance. We have worked sweaty hours to clear land in faith for a church, and seen people healed of various afflictions. God is good!!!!!!!!! Right now there seems to be allot of interest from various teams to come into these places so we are seeking God on how many we can accept and when. We have a lot of long term vision and excitement for the future but we be live that God will lead us one step at a time. We be live that our closeness to God the is the most important thing in missions. The Lords favor is the most powerfully ally a mere human can have. We will follow Gods direction day by day and walk in his grace we do not want to promote ourselves only God.
